I’ve gotten positive responses on the font used on the previous strip, which is awesome! But some people found it just a little too hard to read, so here’s one that feels similar, but should be easier to read. I hope.

All English fonts and bubbles updated up to this point. English: beige and brown, Korean: black and white.

So many hours I’ve spent on font browsing and tweaking… So much comic I could’ve drawn with that time!

Please check out my Patreon page, and support me if you can! It’s my birthday today (Nov 26th), too! :D

There will be no date this Thursday due to Thanksgiving. But who wants skipped updates? I sure don’t! So here is this Thursday’s strip, posted a little early.

There is an old version of this scene which I did months ago. The old version didn’t show the villagers assembling; you just saw Ethan surrounded all of sudden, which felt a little clunky, writing/pacing-wise.

So I present to you the New and Improved Version. The suyori’s portrait and the very last panel are from the old version, but everything else is new.

Quite fond of the chapter title. :)

Talk about a flashy entrance!

The next few chapters were actually completed months before I even started drawing this one, so you may notice some weirdness art-wise (and maybe writing-wise too, eek!). It would not be productive to redraw every single panel, but I will try to fix the worst ones before they get posted.

I’m nervous about showing the old stuff to you guys, yet at the same time, it proves that I have improved over the past few months of working on this comic. Never stop improving, that’s my goal!

If you’ve read this part prior to June 2016, you might remember this scene a bit differently. There’s been a major revision with brand new art! I didn’t redraw it just to make the art better, though. The old art was honestly fine. It was the writing that needed help.

The differences are subtle (the outcome of the scene remains the same, after all) yet significant at the same time, I feel. A lot of love, blood and tears went into it, so I hope this makes for a better reading experience.
