I take it that ‘primary’ arborists automatically know what to do? Let’s hope his ‘secundary’ tasks can be less gruesome to Ethan.
More maintanance than creation/ transitioning dragons. The trees at least seem to really like him – the sapling seems positively overjoyed to welcome him ;-)

I actually don’t know what it’s like to have Arborist as your primary. One of those things that I can only know when (or if) it’s included in the comic! I imagine they do have to train, but it wouldn’t be like starting in complete darkness. They can probably sense a lot that they couldn’t without the power, but to really know what to do with that information, training/practice is needed.
