Was not expecting that to be the deal with Lu’s fingers! XD
So basically, they can shapeshift into more than just humanoid forms (assuming here that the tiger form is their most natural shape?) But normally, Rencho can’t do that, and Lu’s managed to figure out how to turn two of his fingers into anything like an inbuilt Swiss army knife?
Not sure how that explains the arrowcatching though. I mean, that was faster than anyone could see.

It could be a superfast springy tentacle :o
