In the chapter list, it says “Chapter 38: Cocoon”. On this page, however, it says “Chapter 38: Halfway”. So which is it? It was originally a mistake on my part, but I actually ended up liking the difference. Sort of like a hidden meaning…!

Are we gonna get a hot spring episode O^O. These poor lads need some time to relax, though Lu may not like the water.

Also, Lushaka remarked somewhere during the reveal of his tentacles that “others mostly just use them to swim” iirc.

We need a better look at that rotund ground dwellign cat-creature in the thirs small panel! :P

Don’t get too friendly with it… It has a big stinger on its tail that’s covered up by the speech balloon.

Well, ‘halfway’ at the top of the first page of chapter 38…

could only *possibly* mean we have another – goooorgeous – 37 chapters to go! Right..?

Seriously though, I think it has more to do with both ‘halfway’ and ‘cocoon’ being among the things the tree-of-life said to Ethan, as he touched a leaf ;-)
And while ‘halfway’ *could* be a sense/ indication the tree has about Ethans -or his powers- development (…?), the possible meaning of ‘cocoon’ has me utterly baffled for now.
