Lushaka actually talks to Danbi normally, for once. But is this a strictly extenuating circumstances thing, or a sign that they’re finally starting to semi-trust each other?  

More explosives! And a bit of a semi-deja vu for Ethan; this probably reminds him of when he had to run away with Danbi and Hana, leaving Master to hold Adela off by herself back at the end of chapter 6.  

I quite like the “PTOOF” panel — it was fun to draw the bridge from that angle! Not so fun for people on the train, though.

That’s one confirmed(-ish) casualty so far… BTW, I made a crossover fanart for Tistow: Small Trolls. If you haven’t read Small Trolls, it’s a beautifully illustrated comic about two children making friends with nature and spirits. I highly recommend it!
