Happy new year, everyone!

I officially dislike drawing late spring rice paddies. They’ll be less annoying to draw when the rice has grown a bit fuller…

Happy New Year! A great page to start what will, I hope, be a great new year!

Thank you! I’m very excited for the upcoming chapters. Hopefully I can get through the year without any missed or late updates.

Awwww. QvQ His reaction’s a lot less offensive than what I was expecting. xD They’re both so cute!

Gender confusion, east-west confusion, anachronistic space-time confusion! That’s a lot of confusion. Keep up the good work.

hahahaha

that’s what I call expressive, great way to visualize his desperation … poor guy.
Well, poor guys, in fact. ^^

Hehe! I’d drawn that first panel months ago, but it came out good enough for me to recycle it (most of the comic has been redrawn/rewritten).
Poor guys indeed…

That was a hilarious scene. XD

I think it’s really cool to show how different opinions are coming from them from the way they were taught in different places! It shows how different they are! The feature of sun beams and brightness in panel 2 also are really cool, like how in a movie a guy gets dumped or something and it shows him feeling sad under some streetlamp.

Yeah, I think in this case (panel 2) the sunbeams give this “and then sudden awkward silence” feeling. Or so I was attempting :)

Given that apparently a lot of visitors aren’t even human, it seems kind of silly to assume there even are suyori on the other side. Everything is different over there.
