I’ve been following Heart of Keol for a long time now and have been loving it. Keep it up!

Now, I’m just curious about your choice of words for Danbi. He is such a kind and loving character.
As Hana’s brother I think he wouldn’t say it like that. It would scare the crap out of her.
The way he says it now makes it seem like he’s telling her a horror story and hoping for her to be scared as hell.
But maybe it’s just my misinterpretation.

Thank you for enjoying the comic and for letting me know! It can seem like such a lonely road that stretches on in a dark fog. Every reminder that there’s someone out there who cares about it is a lamppost lighting that road. :)

As Alterna said, Danbi’s description is unfortunately the watered down, sugared up version. A lot of poachers will (or at least, are known to) straight up kill Elyeos and harvest blood, organs, bones, etc.

Danbi wants Hana to be scared so that she’ll avoid suspicious people and keep her ears hidden. It’s a delicate balancing act… You want her to be scared, but not so scared that she’ll have nightmares about it.

You’re welcome. You’ve come a long way since the start. I can’t wait for the rest of the story to unfold.
