Ethan certainly doesn’t understand the norms of this new world he now lives in, should be an interesting transformation both in Ethan himself and their friendship

That’s what Ethan would aim to do! Lushaka, on the other hand, might argue that if they actually tracked you down to kill you, they’ll do it again unless you kill them…

Only one thing to do then… Bribe them with cheese to stop being antagonistic! XD

If you leave a live enemy behind you then you expose your own rear to an enemy’s attack. Not a good survival strategy. Evidently Ethan has a lot more growing up to do. I don’t imagine he realizes exactly how lucky he is to have Lu on his side.

I’m glad you guys like that panel! It was hard to draw due to the angle and the poses, but it’s also one of my favorites as well.

Heh, “I hope they don’t have children.” Nobody forced them to attack Ethan. If there are orphans out there now, it certainly isn’t Lu’s fault despite Ethan’s misguided attempt to make Lu feel bad. Those people chose the life they lived and it killed them. Lu was merely the instrument of their destruction.

A lot of people with that kind of extra size these days are raised with the notion that they have to seek every way not to hurt someone even when being attacked, since they have a bit of an overwhelming natural advantage, in theory. I figure that’s part of why the whole concept is so hard for him. If that’s so, though, I somehow doubt he’ll think to explain it….

The “I won’t make you do it panel” is so pretty!!! And sweet imo. Sparing the big gentle giant from hurting others :) Also, killing people at such a young age isn’t something to be proud of Lushaka
