Why does she even care? She never met him. Is it because he was the only one of the male elyeo? Or his fabulous horns

My guess is, she needs male Elyath because she wants her race to be able to procreate the same way as humans do. And as for the millions of people dying, I think it’s her power that’s been keeping this one corner of the world safe for humans and Rencho to breathe, and once she no longer needs them to produce a male Elyath, she stops making the barrier and everyone chokes to death on the toxic atmosphere.

Obviously I can neither confirm nor deny until the comic itself reveals it either way. But I gotta say you got some solid theories there, Matt! :D

ahhh, okay, so it wasn’t the country invading Xi like in a war, but the Queen herself destroying it. Not really any better, but a different thing being covered by propaganda, and makes the propaganda *slightly* more truthful. Kind of like saying the Queen of Hearts was strict with her subjects #eyeroll
