You never cease to amaze with how beautiful your comic pages are, I’m especially loving the flow of panels in this. And gosh those last few panels are precious, I’m so looking forward for the next page!

Thank you for such kind words! I’m really glad I was able to convey what I see in my heart. It’s such a beautiful story in my heart, and it’s always a challenge to portray it the way I see it.

Sometimes you just gotta eat -loudly, since it’s noodles- you know. But I’m not leaving your side.

And I truly believe that (please don’t take that from me) that gentle touch, just like the gentle loving hand-on-forehead before, allows you to ‘appear’ in his (I think) guilt-ridden ‘vision’, aside/ on-top-of your obvious b o n d – as a saviour-giant-catfish no less!

Lu’s body language says a lot, so it makes me happy to see folks paying attention to it!

Seeing the way Lu can take care of himself, eating, and still *be there*, makes me wish I had a tail like that! Or.. a third arm/ hand.

Ah, that dream (and internal thoughts) where you think there is nothing special about you. You think you aren’t especially capable. Yet to many around you it’s as obvious as flies on rice. And far more appealing.

I’m not sure if “I’m not special” is the crux of Ethan’s problems right now. But feelings of powerlessness, certainly. Powerless to save even just one life, and the guilt that comes with it.

Impressive artwork (as always) but it’s the scenes with that air of beauty that never cease to amaze me.

Waaaah in the midst of catching up, so much has happened! And I will never get over your masterful use of vertical space and your eye for light and mood and colour and scenery and architecture!

Suuuuper impressed at how the angles of the ceiling/walls make the room “swim” into view when you scroll down with any speed. As someone who has passed out many times (dehydration, overheating, blood draws, etc.), you *nailed* that feeling of coming back out of it swooning erratically. Very nicely composed.

Ah, yes, the number one guaranteed way to get a cat’s attention…seize the end of their tail. The reaction from there varies.

When you’ve got Lushaka by the tail, don’t let go.
