Heyo! I just wanted to say how much I adore Heart of Keol! I remember stumbling across it several years back, but lost it and only found it recently through another comic ( called Wychwood I believe). I’m still rereading from the beginning and BOY has it been a treat. Your art leaves me in awe every time; your landscapes are breathtaking; your characters are diverse, distinct and well written. There is so much symbolism in your work that I’ve yet to unravel and it gives me an excuse to read your comic over and over again. And don’t get me started on your paintings in the extras section! I have no words, just…wow. All those details? Amazing. I hope you’re doing well and taking care of yourself! Keep doing what you’re doing :)

So far, I think the scene where Lushaka first transforms into a tiger to comfort Ethan might be my favourite. I haven’t caught up yet, so it’s possible that’ll change. As for characters, I really like Lushaka, but Danbi and Ethan are close seconds! I also like Nopsae (I think that was her name? The older Dokkabi with the levitation powers), she’s so chill and laid back. Not such a huge fan of Adela haha.

Aw, I’m glad you like that scene. It was challenging to write, but I think it paid off.

Adela could use some serious self-reflection, for sure. ;D

I just noticed: Is Danbi growing goat ears? I love the idea. =D

They’ve been like that since the beginning of his transformation! It’s possible that his will never be like full length Elyeo ears.
