Surprise early update! Multiple significant changes for all of the characters in this chapter.

Moving is a lot of work even when you have the internet to look for new places, trucks to carry your stuff, etc. It’s a lot harder for these people…

“They say a tree burns with its forest, bug the forest isn’t a place. The forest is your people, your family.”
You just blew my mind.

Thanks! It was worth the few minutes coming up with a new proverb that fits their society. :D

Hopefully the blur problem is gone for good!

At least the cabinet in panel 4 looks happy, right? With that handle looking like a smile and the things attaching the handles to the wood of the cabinet looking like eyes?

Sadly, there’s a good chance they won’t be able to take that cabinet with them. :( :( :(

But magic….What if the cabinet spurts wings and becomes a tiny cabinet? Maybe the size of a hand of an adult? Then it could come.
But yeah, that’s probably not happening soon.

They do have beasts of burden capable of traversing this type of terrain, but the fact remains those animals must be led by a human handler — meaning they can’t carry these faster than a human can walk. Even though as suyori, they can probably afford to pay the fee, it’s just not worth it when each trip could take multiple days. Cheaper to buy new furniture at the destination.

;n; Happy cabinet, I’ll miss you!
