So 1.6$ per day per person. I’m assuming they have access to other money to feed themselves with O-O

I think “mon” means “monday”, so that $100 only needs to last less than a week!

whew, $100 for a month would be tough…

keii4iiFebruary 24, 2017 @ 12:37 AMReply

Yeah, $100 for a month wouldn’t be enough to feed two humans that size!

MytheeFebruary 26, 2017 @ 3:55 PMReply

oh phew, I’d misread that. xD

This strip hits pretty close to home for me.

keii4iiFebruary 24, 2017 @ 1:18 AMReply

:( It does for me too.

I didn’t have any family with PTSD, but my aunt who raised me for years is schizophrenic. It used to not be so bad, but as the years wore on it got worse. The Christmas before last when I visited her she was off her meds because it was causing her to have seizures. While I was there she barely looked at me, barely talked to me. I’m not sure if she really even SAW me or realized I was there. Seeing someone you love in a state like that, realizing that they aren’t the same person they were before… It hits hard. Really hard. I bawled like a baby the entire drive home. It’s easy to see that Ethan feels the same as I did then, and I’m sure it’s because you know that feeling too.

I can’t find the words to describe my response in full, so I’ll just say: thank you.

Hi, I was a big fan of your fire emblem art way back like 10 years ago, and fire emblem heroes has me buzzing with my friends about fire emblem a lot these days, so I remembered your art and kinda rediscovered you a few days ago. I was surprised to see you had a webcomic! And it turns out to probably be my favorite webcomic I’ve read. Webcomics have a hard time keeping my attention, but I’ve breezed through this to the current page no problem over just a few days! I think I really like the long-scrolling format (I’m a pretty light webcomic reader so i’d only seen this before with “lady of the shard” and i really liked it) but yeah I think the format is really immersive which is only helped by your gorgeous art and creativity and storytelling style! It really feels like I’m watching film sometimes. There’s so many things I like about it… the light, the nature, your diversity of bodies and faces, the animal people designs, the storytelling, the deep and creative worldbuilding… I admit I’m not very deeply versed in Korean culture, which of course means reading fiction inspired by it is even rarer for me, but that makes this find feel very fresh to me. I’m so grateful I found it, and that it’s continuing to update! I’m so glad I rediscovered you and I’ll definitely be following this!

Wow, that is super awesome that you’re enjoying the comic so much! (Yay for FE!) I really appreciate that you got into the specifics about what you like about the comic. It’s interesting to see what different people get out of the same material. There’s a lot more story to be told here, so I hope you enjoy the rest of the ride! (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧

Another page with messed up panel order, unfortunately!

But otherwise, I’m really enjoying this current arc – it’s rare to see heroes really affected by the deaths of people who were basically villains in the previous arc, usually the most you’d get is a sad look and a shake of the head and then they’d move on, but this really drives home that every life has meaning and every death is a tragedy. And it does all that without stopping the story, because it happens through the medium of character development for Ethan. I really appreciate that.

Oh no, another messed up page, and it had to be a super important moment too! D: It should be fixed now, and I’m glad that you were able to follow and enjoy the story despite these. Thank you for sticking with the story, and for your wonderfully insightful comments (as well as the broken page reports!) ❤︎

I can’t help but wonder what it is about electrical outlets that sets off his PTSD.
