I hope the wyrm/dragon is really dead. I’m also hoping/fearing that Ethan seizes the opportunity to become a dokkabi. I mean, it’s not like they’ll be able to avoid trouble with the law anyway, what with Danbi sprouting horns, goat ears and anime protagonist hair.

I don’t know; personally I think Danbi’s new hair is more ‘jRPG villain’ than ‘anime protagonist’ X’D

Ethan is already a dokkabi, I’m fairly certain.

He probably needs to evolve before he can be considered one! On the right evolution path, though.

That poor wyrm was about to alert the Queen and kill millions of people as a result.

Ethan has latent dokkabi affinity, but he wouldn’t have the control to do anything with it safely without taking the wyrm drought. I see he is grabbing a second weapon… I hope we aren’t about to see angry dragon ripping into somebody…

I think the basic difference being that dokkabi can harness power intentionally, Ethan gets outbursts of wild power under stress.

Red gaters have a tiny bit of Dokkabi power in them, and sometimes (like with Ethan) they can use it, but they don’t have much power so they can’t use it without risking themselves. Like someone with a weak heart trying to bench press a massive amount of weight.

I like that you compared it to a weak heart. It’s not a simple newbie lifter situation where you just need to keep working out; you have something else that you should get looked at!
