The imagery is absolutely stunning, the butterflies, the birds, the transformation. I’m not sure this was teleportation, possibly something more.

Are the wings permanent?

I don’t think I’ve ever commented here even though I’ve been reading for years but wow, just W O W, this whole page is stunning. The whole transformation sequence feels so peaceful and powerful and right and ahhhh its so perfect, I love it.
On an art tangent, I love drawing characters with wings and I never thought of laying opacity like that for such an incredible etherial look! Your whole art style is always so beautiful to look at <3

Oh I can’t wait for Lu’s reaction. Now. Imagine if you will, this scene coming right after:

His eyes fluttered open, the lids still heavy with the weights of sleep. No. It wasn’t just his eyes, his whole body felt sore. “What?” Ethan questioned, drowsiness infused with his voice as he slowly sat up. The blurry world slowly came into focus and Ethan saw Lushaka, with his normally upswept hair falling messily into his face.

His eyes were everywhere at once, a expression of muddled awe and concern painted across Lushaka’s face in broad strokes. “You, uh. Got something there.” He said hesitantly, pointing a shaking finger at Ethan’s… well, wings.

“Five more minutes,” the international Morning Chant.

Wei Yun may have made grade SSS, but Ethan just made grade SERAPHIM. Question is, where exactly does that fall in the power scale, and does it come with any other special abilities?
