I love the reverse they have with the feathered and butterfly wings mirrored.

Next time, don’t think about how you’re managing to stand on water. Such things usually work until you think too hard about them…

Much like how the coyote can chase the roadrunner right off the cliff, and keep going… until he looks down.

I mean, “not wanting to be where you are” sounds like a very good way to get out of uncomfortable situations (and conversations), I get it

Oh hey! Shadow’s still there! =D I thought he was left behind to die when Ethan made his choice. So glad that’s not the case. =’3

(Maybe I’ll reread that bit, though, see if it was just something about the way it came across to me. XD; )

Please see my reply to Licht on this page, it’s actually to the both of you, but your comments aren’t linked ;-)

I think it was his dad’s shadow who was dying because something went wrong with their connection, (possibly poison related) ?

kniptzijneigenhaarDecember 31, 2021 @ 9:20 AMReply

It was.
Although the confusion is probabely because it ‘presented’ as young Ethan?
Just as Ethans shadow ‘presented’ as Lu, or: what you need to see most – for comfort – when you need to see it the most.
I think the connection to Dad simply hasn’t been there, ever since he managed to leave Keol. Since they’re called ‘shadow’ it feels to me as if someone must be there to ‘throw’ shade? That otherwise they will -eventually- fade…
