Golden Flowers…?

The ‘baby-hands’ gave Ethan Golden-Eye-Flowers…
The catfish has them too !!! – what could that posssibly mean (it’s soooo pretty it *must* be something positive…)!!?

As I saw on the previous page, that the step trough the mirror was a ‘plunge’ into deep water (to an underwater world)
I was hoping a friendly catfish would turn up somehow ^^

But as I scrolled down this page, and the anemone / coral-(plant ?) turned to grabby *babyhands* — I FREAKED !!!
Somehow I remember a nightmare-ish vision (chapters ago) with a plant with angry babyhands….?
The guilt-manefestation after killing the little dragon that looked like a stack of babies…

While that wasn’t what I had in mind, I genuinely love your interpretation too!

I simply cannot accept that the little sapling is turning *evil*…
I choose to (for now) believe, that it’s becoming ‘aware’ (so to speak) and more ‘connected’ to Ethan – a friend.
The outcry at the King’s shoes – QUEEN WANTS !!! – was a … warning. It’s trying to help!

Just as in the story where the trees *helped* the earlier settelers – by warning them to move and re-locate …?
I’ll hold on to that idea.
