That beige stick in her hand is a yeot, a traditional Korean candy. It’s hard and dry when stored, but becomes stiiiiicky in your mouth. Not recommended for people with loose adult teeth!

My wife learned to cook Korean food while I was in the military, but she never made me any candy. Now I feel cheated! lol

XD Don’t worry, homemade ones don’t taste a whole lot better than store-bought ones when it comes to yeot IMO. Though I don’t have a sweet tooth so maybe I’m not the best person to ask…
