Thank you! I put my heart and soul into the emotions in this scene — not just on this page, but how it’s been building up and will continue to affect the rest of the story. So it’s really good to hear that my efforts are bearing fruits.

I LOVE THAT SONG and you’re right! It fits perfectly! Sleeping At Last is highly underrated.

Damn. You do such a good job at bringing depth to the characters and the story. Who was the girl who brought him here? I’m inclined to think she is Chaos, given how dangerous his powers seem to be…

There were some excellent theories about the hoodie kid, back when HoK was discussed on comicteaparty.com…

I just binged read this webcomic and I just love all the characters and their stories! My heart goes out to Lushaka mourning the loss of Sundi and Ethan’s drama with his parents. TToTT

He was kicked out of school why? Because he got picked on by the other little brats? Something’s not right here.

Because he reacted to what those other little brats were saying… and went too far in doing so, in the school faculty’s opinion at least. (See the end of chapter 3)

…does that mean that Ethan’s dad is, perhaps, getting a bit better?
Or that his mom is starting to care, perhaps even precipitating the above?
