HANDS

ARE HARD TO DRAW but worth the struggle!

I’m currently drawing my own comic, and half of the characters speak in sign language, and the bad news is I’m not good at hands yet

Lu’s ears are so fricking expressive!

Inspired by my late dog, who had the most expressive ears! :3

The Lu/Ethan interaction is very sweet indeed but I can’t stop focusing on how defeated Danbi looks :////

I feel like something clicked for Ethan in this episode. Or maybe last episode when they were swimming. This is the most aware Ethan has been of this level of emotional connection with Lu. I’m so happy for it ❤️

And then there’s poor Danbi who is sprouting horns and glowing hair, is being hunted down by the queen and her minions, who really just wants to live a simple happy life as a Suyori in the countryside (and probably married to a nice sweet man who sees him as beautiful and valuable) and he’s having to watch this encounter between Ethan and Lu….seriously, poor Danbi.

Yes! I get the same impression as well – and I think (though I’m not sure) that the underwater scene was meant to also signify the development (or realization?) of Ethan’s feelings.

Might’ve been the right time for a kiss goodbye . . .
