If anyone was wondering why Wei Yun brought the dead dragon along in chapter 37… well, now you know.

So the Wyrm gets to “live” after all.

I too wish to become a tree when I die. Take my corpse nature, make me a pretty corpse tree.

Poor Ethan, finding out he’s volunteered to relive dragon killing trauma over and over the rest of his life… :(

Indeed :<

First of – those ‘chubby’ little baby-hands are masterfully drawn !!
Second – I don’t remember seeing chubby baby-hands as *anything* other than ‘cuuute!’ before in my life…
that is – untill they appeared in Ethan’s feverish vision… :-(

Poor poor darling, re-living this… :-(
Still, ‘it’ ending up giving life – to the trees sustaining life… should be some sort of ‘silver lining’?
Maybe Lu can offer it to him as some kind of solace…

I think maybe creating the tree revives the wyrm/dragon in some capacity? It would be cool if the wyrm came back as a tree, and it might help Ethan with his trauma to know that it’s not permanently dead.

That would be wonderful if it works out… and that’s a big if!
